Meeting Minutes


The meeting was called to order at 1305 hours by Commander Zeolla. The usual opening was made by Chaplain Norman Champagne and by Sgt. @ Arms Storrings. All Officers were present or accounted for. The Commander recognized past Commanders Norman Champagne, Ed Grala and Tony Vaquero.

CHAPLAINíS REPORT: Calling hours for Ed Craig are this afternoon at 3:30 at Myers Funeral Home in Liverpool.

MINUTES: Minutes of March 27 meeting were approved as posted.

Treasurer Bill Trouesdale presented his Treasurers Report. The motion to accept the report as read was passed. Complete report is on file with the Treasurer.

REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEES: Membership-58 active- 4 in arrears. National membership dropped 1,213 last year and 303 so far this year.

ATTENDANCE: There were 26 members in attendance. Lou Rossi won the 50/50 of $38 .00 and donated it back to the Chapter. Steve Misgala won the coins.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Nothing to report.


OLD BUSINESS: Our annual Clambake will be on Sunday, July 23d from 1-5PM. It will be at by Ernieís Lakeland. It will be at the Firehouse at 1002 State Fair Blvd. The cost will be $40.00 each, which includes gratuity. Cost to non-members is $50.00. Checks are to be made payable to: KWVA CNY Chapter 105 and mailed to: Bill Trousedale at 5090 Onondaga Road, Syracuse, N.Y. 13215-4403. Checks must be received by July 17!

There will be a 5 oíclock Mass at Holy Family Church on Saturday May 27th. There will be service at the Veteranís Cemetery at 9:00 AM May 28 and the Camillus Parade will be on Monday May 29- be at the Green Gate Inn by 8:30 if you want a ride up the hill. The next Board Meeting will be on May 17 at 10:00 AM. The next regular meeting will be Sunday May 21 at 1:00 PM.

Meeting was closed at 1330 hours after the usual ceremonies by Norm Champagne and by Sgt. @ Arms Storrings.
